Kenny was born and raised in Monticello, NY, where he played in the school jazz band as well as in local rock groups. His love of jazz took  him to SUNY Purchase, where he received a Bachelors degree in Jazz Studies. At Purchase, he studied with John Riley and Richie Morales. He continues his studies with Ari Hoenig, Joe Bonadio and Doug Yowell. After college, Kenny moved to Brooklyn where he still resides today. 

Kenny is now an in-demand session and live drummer who is known for his versatility and groove-based musical approach to the instrument. He has worked with such artists as: Dispatch, Ariel Posen, Abby Payne, Pete Francis, Joe Scarborough, Rebecca Haviland, The Flamingos, Sloan Wainwright, Alice Tan Ridley, Stolar, Constantine Maroulis. and many others. He has performed at Madison Square Garden, Ryman Auditorium, Greek Theater Berkeley as well as on The Late show with Stephen Colbert and The View.
